The IAK – Institut für Angewandte Kinesiologie (the biggest school / centre in the world teaching Specialized Kinesiology) in Kirchzarten, Germany www.iak-freiburg.de first sponsored Dr Scott to come and teach Health Kinesiology back in 1986. Since that time Health Kinesiology courses have been taught by various HK tutors throughout Europe on a regular basis.
CANASK – Canadian Association Specialised Kinesiology have recognised Health Kinesiology as an advanced professional K since 1990.
In 1991, Health Kinesiology was a founding member of the Kinesiology Federation – the professional umbrella for a number of Kinesiology Systems within the United Kingdom and is recognized as one of the Advanced Kinesiologies in the UK. www.kinesiologyfederation.co.uk
Health Kinesiology UK was awarded simultaneous accreditation by the Open College Networks of South West, University of Plymouth and West North Yorkshire, Leeds Metropolitan University on July 1,1996 and subsequently from 2001 to the present time by the Yorkshire Humber Region OCN based at Leeds Metropolitan University. www.healthk.co.uk
